A series of workshops may follow any of the one-off workshops or be specifically requested. The workshop series is our preferred method of provision as the longer-term benefits are harvested and integrated into other aspects of people's lives.

The purpose of a series is to work with a developmental mind from very fundamental and basic principles to the introduction of quite complex movement patterns according to the ability of the group. The work provides a complimentary process to other educational programs in schools, or the rehabilitation and general mobility programs in health and care settings. The workshops are dance based and art form in essence but the intention can be focussed on the needs of the participants and the context offered by the host.

We have delivered work 2002-4 as a core partner with Creative Partnerships Manchester and Salford, and in 2005 in Lancashire, within educational advisory services, by special arrangement with schools or as part of a wider artistic program of activity. We are developing after school clubs as a means to encourage mixed ability dance provision and normalise integrated dance groups. Weekly session in dance centres or hired studios; we run a series of workshops one night a week, which is open to individuals to drop in and engage in dance at a more recreational level. For professional dance practitioners these settings are informal training opportunities in mixed ability practise and community dance provision. Youth Group, "Co-motion". In November 2005 we are launching a youth group at Waterside Arts Centre, our base in Sale. We launch on November 5th and continue on a weekly basis.for 10 sessions as a pilot project. Co-motion is open to young disabled and non-disabled dancers as a place to learn and have fun making dance together. We do intend to make performances with those who wish to.
